Compliance calendar

One calendar for every client’s deadlines

Niyora keeps a deadline calendar per client, generated from what actually applies to that company rather than from a single master list - and chases the person the deadline is assigned to, not a firm-wide mailing list.

  • MCA, GST, income-tax, labour, SEBI and FEMA deadlines in one place
  • Two independent axes: the scope your firm is engaged for, and what the company actually owes
  • Month and list views scoped to the financial year, with filters that persist
  • Assign a deadline to a person - and assigning it tells them
  • A reminder ladder your firm configures, delivered in-app, by push and optionally by email
  • Bulk mark-filed, bulk reassign, CSV export, and a subscribable iCal feed for Outlook or Google

Two questions, kept apart

Whether a deadline shows up is two separate questions: is your firm engaged to handle that category at all, and does this company actually owe it? Recording "we do not do this client’s GST" must not require pretending the company is not GST-registered - that would be a factual lie the rest of the product then reads. So the engagement scope and the applicability profile are separate, and both are editable.

Reminders that reach a person

A firm-wide blast is how a compliance alert becomes something everyone scrolls past. A reminder goes to the person the deadline is assigned to, falling back to whoever owns the client, and finally to the firm’s Org Managers for anything unassigned. Each person can mute this channel for themselves without muting sign-in approvals with it.

It subscribes into the calendar you already use

A per-user iCal feed puts your deadlines into Outlook or Google Calendar. The feed is authenticated by its own token and re-resolves your permissions on every fetch, so a change of role changes what the feed carries without anyone re-issuing it.

What this does not do

  • Deadline templates are statutory defaults. Government extensions are detected from official notifications and applied only after a person reviews the change and its blast radius.
  • Automatic extension detection currently crawls SEBI. MCA notifications are ingested through a separate job, because MCA blocks cloud IP ranges.

Questions firms ask

Does it cover more than MCA?+

Yes - MCA and ROC, GST, income tax and TDS, labour (EPF and ESI), SEBI LODR for listed companies, and RBI or FEMA returns.

What if we do not handle a client’s GST?+

Set your firm’s scope of engagement, firm-wide or per client. Those categories stop being generated, without misrecording anything about the company itself.

Can deadlines appear in Outlook?+

Yes, through a subscribable iCal feed that is per user and re-checks your permissions each time it is fetched.
