Due diligence is not a statutory procedure - its scope is set by whoever commissions the review. So a Niyora DD engagement starts from a short set of steps you edit at the moment you open it, and you can either work through them by hand or hand the documents to Niyora for per-document rule checking.

What it checks, precisely
Each document type declares rules with a severity - critical, important or advisory. Niyora extracts the text of an uploaded document and judges every rule for that type, returning a verdict and one sentence of evidence per rule, plus a completeness pass. Your firm can add types and edit rules; an absent overlay falls back to the shipped defaults.
What it does not claim
Niyora reads the document in front of it. It does not cross-check a document against MCA, GST or any other registry, and the model is explicitly forbidden from asserting that a document is genuine. Registry confirmation is still done by hand on the official portals. We would rather say that plainly than sell verification the product refuses to do.
What this does not do
- There is no registry cross-check. Niyora judges documents against declared rules; it does not verify authenticity against MCA or a vendor API.
- A scanned document that extracts to no text is reported as unreadable rather than silently passed.

No. It checks each document against the rules its type declares and states the evidence. Authenticity checks against a registry are still done by hand on the official portal.
Can we use our own checklist?+
Yes. Both the document types and their rules can be overlaid per firm, and the review’s own steps are written by you when you open it.
